Chieftain Training offer a range of Shorebased RYA and MCA marine safety and navigation training courses for sailors, powerboaters, super-yacht crew, divers and seafarers.

Training is delivered either in their classroom, at your workplace or online. Courses range from short one-day training courses to longer eight-day courses. Each course is designed to help you develop skills in specific areas such as VHF Marine Radio, engine maintenance, First Aid, navigation and sea survival, these shorebased courses allow you to focus on learning and developing important skills while ashore, without the distraction of flapping sails or noisy engines.

Many students work towards RYA Yachtmaster Coastal, RYA Yachtmaster Offshore or RYA Yachtmaster Ocean, while others embark on MCA STCW Training for Basic Safety, Deck crew positions or to become Officers or Masters.

For those courses requiring charts etc. a pack is posted promptly once the course is booked and an online account is set up.
