Trail Tips

Tips and advice from sailors that have completed the trail:

  • "There are a large number of parking spaces I would still arrive really early on busy sunny days"
  • "The slipway is well marked and not too steep, though finding it on the return required quite sharp eyes. Also it is quite often a lee shore - and when we arrived back the land/sea breeze had really picked up"
  • "The east side of the island is much busier, proceed with caution"
