Boardsports

Packed with action and adventure, boardsports offer an exhilarating opportunity to take to the water

What are boardsports?

Boardsports include some of the most thrill-seeking watersports, like surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, foiling, and more. While these watersports share many similarities, each one is uniquely characterised by how the board is used to travel through the water.

Whichever boardsport you choose, you’ll get the chance to experience nature and the adrenaline rush of soaring through the waves. With so much of our time spent in solitary or static activities, boardsports offer a chance get out on the water, boosting your physical and mental health.

Get started

There’s no doubt that watersports have taken the industry by storm. While they might seem like an exclusive playground for professional adrenaline junkies, the tides have certainly changed.

As a complete beginner to boardsports, winging can be a great place to start. It’s slower and easier to learn, requiring less technique than windsurfing or wingfoiling. No previous watersports experience is needed, making it a great option for all abilities and ages.

Once you’ve mastered some of the basics like steering, maintaining ground up wind, and self-rescue you can progress to more complex boards, for added speed and momentum.
